A symphony of Angels

A symphony of Angels is calling me this day
To take me to a far-off land, to an afterlife so they say
Be that true or otherwise, you are here to see me go
Kind, kind friends and relatives, it’s so good of you to show
I’m heartened by your presence to help me on my way
And yes, we will miss each other, but let’s hope and wish and pray
That our memories, fond memories, will ease the tears and pain
As you go on in life, a joyful life, those memories will remain.
