All’s well that ends well
There’s a saying; all’s well that ends well, and I trust today has been the case
Though I doubt this saying was meant for today, something one day we will all have to face.
So, here we all are together, no doubt feeling rather glum
I know just how your feeling; lying here is also not much fun
But alas let us be cheerier, I’ve made space for those to come
If we all were to live forever, I dread how the world would become
My life has been pretty ordinary, like most, devoid of fame
No discoveries, inventions or historical legacy, will there be to assert to my name
My love goes to my nearest and dearest, to my (husband/wife), my daughters and son(s)
We will miss each other of course we will, but sadly my living is done
You will have fond memories to treasure and share; no doubt time will help heal your loss
Sadly, from this day forth, our paths will never again cross.
