I’m here, I’m there, I’m anywhere
We are gathered here today to say goodbye to me
That’s so so good of you, you’re so sombre I can see
I understand your feelings and would feel the same if I were you
We are where we are however, and it’s beyond all of us, to undo.
My pain has gone, as has my torment, and for that I am immeasurably pleased
And maybe my fate is for the better, for in every way my suffering has eased
I’m here, I’m there, I’m anywhere, if I’m anywhere at all
So, wherever I am if anywhere I will think of you and memories recall
I was part of a tree with branches
Upwards and onwards you must go
New generations to follow, more seedlings to scatter and sow
We may not talk hereafter so I will say my final farewell
If only in verse as now read to you
Upon sad times let us not dwell
